WhatsApp adds a new option for iPhone users

WhatsApp is bringing an option through which iPhone users can link an email address to their account.

This is an alternative for users who may have temporary problems receiving the 6-digit code via message.

Access to the application through the number will not change because the update is just an additional form of identification. Your contacts will not be able to see the email address.

To activate it, just go to Settings/Account/Email Address. For the option to appear, you must have the latest version of WhatsApp installed.

Currently, the option is only available for iOS users. WhatsApp plans to roll out to all other users, including Android users, in the coming weeks.
